Next, notice how the smile line, for this patient, is actually negative. Instead of curving upwards.. it is the opposite, it curves downward, a fairly common ocurrence in mother nature. Worn down teeth can also produce this reverse smile line effect or a smile line that is perfectly straight.

This next photo is NOT the final treatment photo. Rather... it is a picture of ten (10) temporary veneers that are used by Dr. Bram and the patient to design each and every veneer to produce what the patient wants. At this stage... we can see what type of cosmetic outcome the patient wants. Very attractive indeed.

Sizing differences are gone. Notice how the smile line arcs upward and follows the line of the lower lip during a smile.

The 3rd picture shows off the final veneers. With this broader smile, the new Smile Line is quite pronounced. The appropriate arc effect follows the natural contours of her lips quite naturally.

The overall result is having a smile that seems to be prefectly matched to the shape of a patients, mouth, jaw line, vertical dimension (occlusal bite)....that feels and looks natural.
