Our patient, a young 30 something active business woman, had several cosmetic issues with her teeth that she wanted to overcome without years and years of dental appointments, adjustments and follow up treatments.

She simply wanted to have great looking teeth that had uniform sizing and balance with a hollywood style, brilliant cosmetic appearance. As shown in the adjact preop photo, she had extensive tooth rotations and uneven spacing.

The condition of the patient's tooth enamel on some structures had also suffered deterioration. Feldspathic porcelain possesses properties that enable a skilled veneer dentist to recreate a cosmetic result that looks and feels like new teeth enamel with color and shading qualities that would even fool Mother Nature herself. Veneers are often used as a treatment that functions as enamel replacement or repair.

Since our patient was somewhat familiar with the concepts of Instant Orthodontics, she was able to specify the orthodontic and cosmetic qualities she wanted in her final cosmetic result.

Technical Studies and Analysis

Dr. Bram's use of an articulator, impression models, diagnostic wax up modeling and porcelain veneer temporaries provided the necessary technical data needed to fabricate specialized veneers for each tooth.

One by one, as the temporary veneers were created, the doctor and patient were able to create a final result that assured healthy dental function (yes, veneers are important for maintaining correct occlusal relationships) and produced a cosmetic dazzle the patient would enjoy for years to come.

Our 2nd, post op photo shows the dramatic cosmetic result that was designed by the patient and Dr. Bram. Notice how all of the teeth are symmetrically paired across all of her teeth. Notice too how the Smile Line (the curvature of the biting edges of the top teeth) follow the arc of the patient's smile.

Important dental function characteristics for normalizing the patient's bite and occlusal relationships (achieved through articulation studies) were readily achieved.
